Frequently Asked Questions
Who can use Showing Assist?
Showing Assist is only for licensed and active agents in your state. All Showing Agents are able to show property in your area.
How much does it cost to show a property?
A lot of thought and care were put into pricing showings. Although there is no industry standard for showing property we considered the range of the most common fees paid to come up with our pricing. We feel our prices are both affordable to the Hiring Agent and motivating to the Showing Agent. We only share this information with our members. So be sure to sign up.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept Credit Card and PayPal® payments.
How do I know a Showing Assist agent won't try to work with my clients?
As part of the Showing Assist user agreement, each user, who is also a licensed agent will be signing a non-solicit agreement. That non-solicit agreement states that Showing Assist users will not engage with your clients outside of what is needed for the showing you request through Showing Assist.
Do I need to schedule a showing before making the request in the Showing Assist app?
No. There is no need to schedule a Showing before making a Request through Showing Assist. As part of the Showing Request process the Showing Agent will be scheduling the Showing on your behalf. So you don’t have to worry about making calls to schedule a showing when you are already crunched for time.
How long are Showing Assist Showings?
All Showing Assist Showings are capped at 30 minutes. So please help ensure smooth showings for everyone involved by informing your clients, inspectors, or technicians the importance of being on time.
What happens if my client cancels?
Using the app you can cancel the Showing Request under your “Pending” requests. There is no charge for requests cancelled in this status.
What happens if a client is late or does not arrive on time?
All Showing Assist Showings are capped at 30 minutes. If a client does not arrive or is too late to see the property in that allotted time, then the Showing is considered shown and the full showing fee will be charged.
What if I want to have more than one property shown?
No problem. When setting up your Request for showing assistance you can select one or more properties using your local MLS data through the app’s easy to use map view, list view or by manually adding an address.
What happens of there are no available Showing Agents for my Request?
As a peer-to-peer network you are relying on other agents to use Showing Assist. Unfortunately, there may be some Requests that do not get assigned when there are no available Showing Agents. If no agents have accepted the Showing Request it will be removed from the system after expiring and you will not be charged. Please encourage your peers to use Showing Assist to ensure there are enough agents out there using the platform.
